Do you allow pets?
A. Sorry, we do not allow
pets.
Q.
How do I get to the
beach from the house?
A. Cross the street and walk less
than 1 minute to the 33rd Place West
Public Beach Access. No need for a
golf cart. Photos and a map to the
beach access are located here.

How do I check
availability?
A. Check availability from the

Is there a pool?
A. Sorry, there is no pool.
Q.
How much parking is
available?
A. The house's property line runs
from the driveway on West Beach Drive
all the way back to the next street
behind us, West Dolphin Drive. 3
or 4 cars can fit in the front, and
more can park out back.
There's plenty of room for boat parking
in the back. Watch for our
neighbor's mailbox, please, when backing
out.
Q.
Is high-speed Internet
available? Is television service
available?
A. We have Spectrum high speed
Internet (wireless) and a Spectrum
100-channel TV package. If you would
like to bring your own Roku, Chromecast,
FireStick, or AppleTV, help yourself to
the open HDMI ports on the televisions.
You can stream apps and television
through your own accounts. Don't
forget to take your streaming stick home
when you leave! Please return the
default input on each TV to Spectrum's
cable box prior to checkout.

Are 2-night rentals
available?
A. During the prime season in the
summer, there are only weekly rentals.
2-night rentals are available at all
other times of the year.
Q.
Is there a place to
charge my golf cart rental?
A. There are 2 new power outlets
under the house at the rear and the
center. Either is suitable for
charging a golf cart.
Q.
How far in advance can
I book? Can I book 2 weeks for
next summer already?
A. The calendar schedule for
booking
weeks online usually goes out to 9
or 10 months. But, if you are
staying with us on a particular week,
Coastal will make you first priority for
next year's booking for that same week.
Q.
Do you refund bookings in the event of
hurricanes or other emergencies?
A. No, we do not refund bookings
due to circumstances beyond our control,
such as the threat of hurricanes, the
aftermath of hurricanes, or restrictions
pertaining to Covid-19 (or similar).
We must respect and comply with all Town
of Oak Island, Brunswick County, State
of North Carolina, and national
emergency directives.

How did you fare during
Hurricane Isaias?
A. Very well, and we are thankful!
We did not have the significant levels
of overwash that lower parts of the
island experienced. Much of the
west side of Oak Island is at a higher
elevation than the east side.
